5/7/04 (from local broadcast media) - Mayor Luis Alberto Villarreal announced that the city has just had delivered to it some new police cars, motorcycles, and garbage collection trucks
Carol Schmidt happened to be in the Jardin
Thursday morning when the bright and shiny new white garbage trucks and other
city vehicles were being blessed. School kids in uniform stood at
attention and sanitation workers in what looked like new royal blue uniforms
were present. The priest sprinkled holy water on the vehicles, inside and out.
Well, why not?
